RAID 0, also known as striped RAID, is a type of data storage configuration that combines two or more hard drives into a single logical volume to improve performance. In a RAID 0 setup, data is split across the drives in “stripes” or chunks, allowing for parallel read and write operations, which can result in faster data transfer rates compared to a single drive.
