By default, your iPhone allows access to control center, your wallet, Siri and a number of others when your phone is locked. This is to aid convenience. However, if your phone is stolen this can pose a security threat. Here’s a quick tip to fully secure your lock screen.
To turn these off, open the settings app then tap ‘Face ID & Passcode’. Enter your passcode to unlock the settings.
Scroll down to ‘allow access when locked’. Turn off the various settings listed. Turning off these settings will mean you’ll need to unlock your phone before having access.
Turn on ‘erase data’ at the bottom. This will automatically erase your iPhone if someone attempts to gain access to your phone and enters the wrong passcode 10 times.
