When you insert a photo or some clipart into Microsoft Word, you might have noticed that the photo snaps inline with the text meaning you can’t drag it into position.
It would be better to be able to move the image freely around the page. To do this, you need to change text wrap settings on the image. Once you’ve inserted your image, click on it, then select your ‘format picture’ ribbon tab.
Click ‘text wrap’, then select ‘square’ from the drop down menu. This means Word will wrap any text squarely around the image.
Now, you can click and drag your photo into position.
